Verboten! Explain as many words as you can in 60 seconds – but the three forbidden words on the card are off limits. Let one slip and the group shouts “Verboten!”

Zündschnur One category, the phone goes round: whoever holds it names a matching word and passes it on. The fuse burns invisibly – whoever it goes off on loses

Schwindler Everyone knows the secret word except one player: the impostor only sees the category and a hint. Each player adds one word in turn, then everyone votes

Stadt Land Blitz The letter and category are set and everyone has three seconds. Hesitate or repeat yourself and you are out – the German classic, only much faster

The game night mixes all four games, makes sure everyone gets an equal turn and keeps the overall score

It ends with a leaderboard and awards such as “Plappermaul” or “Meisterschwindler” – as an image you can send straight to your group chat
